Mini or medium F1 breeder within 3 hours of Chicago?

Hello all.

I've found discussions on this forum incredibly helpful in answering questions and educating about doodle dogs.

Family has decided this summer will be right time for us to get a puppy.

Does anyone have recommendations for reputable breeder of healthy and friendly F1 puppies within a three hour radius of Chicago? We don't want a monster, and are thinking that maybe miniature poodle crossed with lab would produce size we are looking for, or possibly what I've have seen described as "medium" (rather than mini or standard). Ideal would be dog that is less than 50 lb. when fully grown.
