Default Looking for a reputable breeder in Connecticut

Hi,

I'm so glad to have found this forum. After much research, we have decided a labradoodle would be the best type of dog for our family. I'm a stay at home mother of three children, aged 2 1/2, 4 1/2 and 8. My husband has a lot of allergies, so the best case scenario would involve us being able to visit a breeder so he could be around the dogs. We also think it would be best to be able to see the puppies and/or parents in person.

We're not, however, opposed to eventually getting a dog from a reputable breeder online.

Can anyone help?

Thank you

Welcome CD. I also am a stay at home mom with three boys ages 7,6, and 5. So a labradoodle is a GREAT pet for us. Cacao is a very big part of our family. She is a great dog. I hope you find one. And when you do around here we love to see pictures of all the doodles.

there are also several member s who breed doodles as well..
i discovered that by seeing their link s on their profiles and
signatures..

they have been very informative and active on this site..

you can also consider a rescue doodle as well..i ve seen many
adorable doodles given up for no other reason than they were
outgrowing an apt...

Thank you. I was going to ask about the rescue centers as well. What are the chances of getting a "true" doodle? That's important to us because of my husband's allergies - and at this point, who knows what allergies my children might have? So if we saw one available for rescue, how would we know the heritage?
