Hi everyone,

My wife and I are looking for a new labradoodle puppy that can flourish on our lovely City. Any recommendations for breeder would be appreciated. Been doing my research, but I'm confused about whether being a member of ALAA or ALCA is meaningful.

Thanks for the help.

WELCOME!
Perhaps some of our breeders could better answer this.
I think the biggest thing you need to do is find a breeder who you absolutely know is NOT a BYB (Back Yard Breeder).
Not only does a good website help, but what testing they do for pups and what the mama and papas background, references, history is important.
The contract should have a number of things in it which includes things like returning the doodle within 2 years if there is a genetic problem.......or if the doodle causes allergies...things like this.

I suppose being a member of ALAA or ALCA is a great thing, but not the most important.
