This is my first post... but I joined because this seemed like a good place to find a reputable breeder in NJ.
I have fallen in love with Labradoodles and am looking to get one as a gift for my parents' empty nest. Ideally, the puppies would be already available, as my father has a birthday coming up and I want to surprise him with a new baby to spoil. If anyone can PM me any information about breeders in NJ, or even PA, that would be great! Thank you! |

Hi everyone,
I want to thank everyone for all of the PMs! One of the links provided to me actually led me to a breeder in PA, and despite the fact that I wanted to take home EVERY dog, I ended up getting the perfect little guy for my family. I'm so excited, and I can't wait to learn all kinds of things about living with a doodle from you guys! |

I am looking for a responsible Labradoodle breeder in New Jersey (I live in central NY) but of course am willing to travel to Maryland or Pennsylvania if needed. My parent's ten year old Rottweiler is in failing health and they have asked me to look into Labradoodles. They are hoping to find a multi-generation female who is out of the puppy stage. They have a large yard, are down the street from a dog park and will be looking for a great dog to love and become part of the family. Grandchildren are frequent visitors so they are focused on a family dog. Does anyone have breeder suggestions or guidance? Thanks for your help!

I lost my yellow lab of 11.5 years almost a year ago and I am ready to replace him and my daughter is begging us. Wen have decided that a labradoodle would be great. We met one NJ breeder who was amazing but when we saw the size of the standard we decided to look for a medium or smaller.
I need to keep the cost down so I would like to find a good breeder from whom I can pick it up from my home in north jersey in NJ, NY, or PA, I would be able to pay a reasonable price. So if anyone knows where I can find a Multigen preferably chocolate or tan with a curly coat please let me know. This would mean the world to my 11 year old daughter. thanks. Hi. I am also looking for a lab or golden doodle for our family. I have contacted numerous "breeders" found through internet ads mostly and after getting prelim info about the pups and parents, my wife and I research further. Everytime so far, we uncover things that discredit the business and/or owner. It is so hard to know who can be trusted. Can anyone please PM me some suggestions for a reputable breeder in the tri-state area (NJ, NY, CT) or PA or at least point me toward a resource that I can use to find one? Thanks, Bob.

I too am looking for a reputable breeder in NJ. We lost our Dobie last year and are ready for a new puppy. I have heard many great things about Labradoodles. I have 3 children and a fenced in yard. Can anyone give me any advice to let me know what Labradoodles are like from an owner's perspective? Thanks.
